The beginning

The digital world

Amilon was founded in 2007 as a spin-off of ECRM Italia, one of the first companies in Italy specialising in CRM and loyalty consultancy. From the very beginning, it embraced digital innovation, becoming the first Italian company to introduce digital gift cards and recognising the potential of a market still in its infancy. A pioneering choice that defined the company’s identity: innovation and digitalisation.

The Early Years

From gifts to rewards

After launching carteregalo.it, an e-commerce platform dedicated to digital gifts, a new opportunity emerged: the B2B world. Companies recognised the advantages of digitalisation in incentive, engagement and loyalty activities. From that moment on, Amilon oriented its business toward corporate solutions, initiating a growth path that continues today.

International Expansion

The entry of the Zucchetti Group, which acquired 51% of the company in 2019, strengthened investments and international presence, increasing solidity and competitiveness. In the same year, Amilon Iberia was established in Madrid, followed in 2021 by the opening of Amilon Polska in Warsaw. A growth path that reinforces the brand’s European presence and competitiveness.

Development

Growth continues through technological and product innovation. In 2009, the digital multicard ideaShopping was launched, and in 2025 it evolved into an app dedicated to shopping, coupons and loyalty.
In 2023, the GiftCardStore portal for business clients was launched, while more recently investments expanded into media & advertising with Future Buyers® and into retail tech with MYND.
Amilon thus confirms its role as a key player in market transformation, creating digital value for companies and consumers.
